Earlier 19th century. Single storey with attic, 2-bay bow-ended cottage. Painted rubble. Margins to openings.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: modern timber door to right; bipartite window to left; canted dormer at attic.
NE (BOW-ENDED) ELEVATION: bipartite window at ground.
NW (REAR) ELEVATION: single window at ground; canted dormer at attic. Flat-roofed extension to outer right; boarded timber door.
Plate glass timber sash and case windows; rooflight. Grey slate bow ended roof; coped mutual stack; circular cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
A distinctive bow-ended cottage (similar to 29 Main Street, see separate list description), used as a tollhouse in the 19th century, as noted by J R Hume.
