Description

Late 18th century, former threadmill. 3-storey 6-window
squared granite, low 2nd (1st and 2nd floors now one
internally); skewputts, coped chimneys. Converted to house in
Victorian times, and in 1923 to Institute.

Statement of Interest

Driven by a detached waterwheel with rope drive across the

North Ugie Water to the North gable. Only traces of the ladeworks remain.
