Description

Dated 1791 (?) but reconstructed later, Coursed squared
granite picturesque 2/3-storey composition with gables and
piended roofs; big kiln with later top courses, tall square
vent 12' double ring start-and-awe wheel. Disused.

Statement of Interest

Picturesque. Tied Parish Mill. Ruins of smaller sawmill with

single ring start-and-awe wheel on N. The Kiln vent is of late

date; old paintings and photographs show a small concial vent.
