Description

Circa 1800-1802 (?). Centre block 2-storey and attic 3-window
granite ashlar fronted, architraved door-piece enclosed within
late glass porch; skewputts, 2-later canted dormers, coped
chimneys; 2 set back wings with piend roofs, S.E. with later
glass addition, N.W. (harness room with coachman's quarters
above) single-storey and attic harled with margins, single
later canted dormer.

Statement of Interest

Probably built by Mr. Gavin, surgeon (+ 1841) on his retiral

from the Navy in 1800 or for his marriage in 1802.
