Description

Circa 1824. 2-storey, 3-bay classical carriage house. Squared and snecked whinstone rubble with contrasting droved sandstone ashlar dressings. Advanced, pedimented centray bay breaking eaves; segmental carriage arch at ground, window at 1st floor both with wooden doors. Enlarged garage opening at ground to left, doorway at right with 9-pane strip fanlight. Windows at 1st floor. Blank sides and rear, lean-to at left. Casement windows with lying-pane glazing. Purple fish-scales slates to piended roof. Dragon weathervane.
