Description

Mid-later 18th century. 2-storey and dormerless attic, 5
irregular bays (formerly 1 2-bay and 1 3-bay dwelling).
Harled, contrasting painted margins. Alternate
window-door-window frontage; irregular 1st floor fenestration
with only 3 windows; single 1st floor window in E gable;
mainly 2-pane glazing. Coped end and ridge stacks; slate roof
with loft lights.
Modern single storey lean-to addition at E gable.

Gardenstown established in 1720 by Alexander Garden of Troup.
