Circa 1858-60, probably by David Bryce. Single storey, gabled
entrance lodge; tooled ashlar, polished ashlar dressings.
Asymmetrical 2-bay N front (to drive); moulded doorpiece with
armorial panel above, flanked (right) by canted bay window;
tripartite in west gable (to road); tall pair of stacks linked
by corniced ridge; projecting eaves; wooden apex finials;
artificial slate roof. Later extension to rear wing.
Belladrum House (D Bryce, 1858) replaced (or incorporated)
earlier house. Now demolished and only pair 1858 garden
pavilions survive. Entrance gate piers no longer complete
though 3 piers (1858) survive opposite lodge.
