Late 18th century, heavily rusticated small 2-storey round
tower with single storey wing. All rock-faced boulder rubble
with tooled ashlar dressings and bandcourses. Entrance in
north, with ogee headed architrave under square headed
hoodmould. Similar detailing to 2 ground floor windows; 2
occuli set in band course, with further ashlar band courses
alternating with rows of heavy rubble. Crenellated wallheaded
and wallhead stack.
Simple rectangular wing with vestiges of piended roof.
Interior; gutted and in poor condition.
By 1794 Major Fraser of Belladrum had been "planting (trees)
for upwards of 30 years". Gazebo sited on slope overlooking
Beauly and on edge of woodland. Gazebo probably built as a
venue for rides and walks through these plantations.
