Description

Late 18th/early 19th century. Large, irregularly shaped walled

garden. High coped rubble walls. Arched entrance in north

wall; rounded-headed archway under pedimented overthrow

decorated with 3 ball finials; paired decorative cast-iron

gates.

Later 19th century lean-to glass house against S facing

length of wall, gardeners' lean-to bothy at N.

Gardener's cottage, early 19th century single storey

symmetrical 3-bay dwelling facing E rear wing. Coursed

rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Varied glazing; some later fenestration; centre ridge coped stack; piended slate roof

with projecting eaves.
