A & W Reid, circa 1875.
Pair single storey cottages, irregular 6-bay frontage:
all grey rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. Single entrance
in outer bay (left) flanked by 3 windows, further doorway and
window in outer bay (right). Single attic window in return
gables; 4- and 8-pane glazing; coped ridge and end stacks;

Statement of Interest

Designed as single ground and attic room dwelling for Grieve

(N end) and to south rooms, kitchen and large dining room

(centre) for farm servants with cook's accommodation above.
