Dated 1834, probably incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey,
3-bay house with slightly small 2-bay late 18th century house
adjoined to W. Red sandstone rubble with chamfered arrises to
openings and 3 painted 1st floor cills with stugged borders.
N ELEVATION: deep-set door to 3-bay house, with dated and
initialled marriage lintel above, and blank panel; 2-leaf
boarded door. Flanking windows and smaller at 1st floor to
each bay. 2-bay house with doorway to left and windows to
right bay.
S ELEVATION: lean-to outbuilding across centre of 3-bay house
and intercepting 2-bay house to left. Blank E gable, with 2
windows to W gable.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
Grey slates to 3-bay house, pantiles to 2-bay. Brick stack to
W gable end and stone stack to E of taller house.
Sited right on banks of the Papana Burn to S, and right on
street to N.
