Early 19th century, single chambered vaulted icehouse built
into side of slope; random rubble east facing frontage with
low centre door with roughly tooled lintel. Roughly tooled
coping to curved roofline. Turfed roof.
Commercial icehouses of this type are uncommon on the west
coast of the Highlands, though found frequently in the
salmon fishing areas of the east coast.
