Dated 1816. Obelisk on tall square corniced plinth on moulded
base; all polished ashlar sandstone with marble plaque with
long inscribed eulogy on south side. Cast-iron railings
enclose area.
Erected in memory of Colonel John Cameron, 92nd Regt. of
Scottish Highlanders, eldest son of Sir Ewen Cameron of
Fassifern (now Fassfern), who was killed at Quatre Bras.
