Description

Early 19th century, long S facing single storey and attic
range with wing at W foroming shallow L-plan, comprising
dwelling (right), carriage house (centre) and stables (left).
Rubble with tooled rubble dressings.
Cottage originally 2 outer bays, but enlarged left of
entrance by taking in single segmental headed carriage
bay, infilled with masonry and small window. Entrance with
tall segmental headed fanlight with interesting tracery;
similar masonry head to window at right, partially infilled
with boarding to accommodate square-headed 12-pane sash
window.
Modern swept dormer.
2 segmental-headed carriage bays in centre of range with
stables left and 3 gabled loft doors breaking wallhead (1
now as window). Each loft gablet pierced by pigeon flight
-holes. End stack; slate roof with projecting eaves.
