Earlier 19th century. Single storey gate lodge with later
additions at east. Harled, with red ashlar margins and hood-
moulds. Tudor-arched door faces north, canted projection on
west wall with margins, windows (blind inner window), and
facetted roof; 3 south-facing windows (2 to east in
addition). Plate glass sashes replace original traceried
windows. Bracketted eaves; diamond apex stack; roofed with
graded slates.
Corniced and ball-finialed circular gatepiers; cast-iron
railings on low coping.
