Description

Sir Robert S Lorimer, architect. Built circa 1917. 2-storey,
3-bay farmhouse, with lower rear wing. Snecked, bull-faced
red ashlar; steep-pitched, piended slate roof with swept
eaves. Symmetrical west front has canted windows in outer
bays, slate-hung between floors, relieving arch over inner
ground floor window; symmetrically placed stacks. Rear wing
has steeper-pitched roof with single piended and swept-eaved
dormer to each elevation; 2 tall stacks; south facing modern
glazed 2-leaf door in re-entrant angle, and door in flat-
roofed kitchen range to east. Small-paned windows, sashes
or casements.
