Description

Dated 1775. Octagonal dovecot with lantern over facetted

roof. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings, mostly whitewashed. Square-headed door, with patterned iron hinges, facing

roughly SE, round-headed opening above with exposed margins

and dated keystone, 2 tiers arcaded flight holes, the upper

timber, with fanlight above. Lantern also has flight holes

and 4-pane windows to elevations, columns at angles, and

weathervane finial. Slate roof with rooflights, leaded over

lantern.

INTERIOR: tiers of brick nesting boxes reaching to near

ground level. No potence.
