Description

Circa 1840. Single storey, 3-bay lodge with corniced square
porch to driveway, and similarly detailed square outbuilding
opposite treated as piers flanking driveway, each with crest
facing (E) approach. Bull-faced red ashlar with polished
margins, dressings and keystones.
MAIN LODGE: originally rectangular-plan with main (S)
elevation to driveway, single bay flanks (canted E window),
circa 1900 addition to rear (N). Sash windows, with
lying-pane glazing. Cornice; blocking course; corniced axial
stacks; piended slate roof, enclosed by blocking course.
DETACHED OUTBUILDING: door to driveway, narrow lights to
flanks. Cast-iron gates.
