Earlier/mid 19th century. Near symmetrical stable block,
courtyard entered between 2 cottages at S; 1929 (dated)
garage inserted central on N range. All single storey with
attics/lofts. Coursed, bull-faced red rubble with ashlar
dressings and margins; sash windows throughout, mostly with
12-pane glazing pattern; all roofs covered with graded
slates. Cottages each have gabled S-facing porches with
shouldered doorways, gabled dormers in bays flanking porches,
off-centre stacks; cottage nearest W 4 bays. Square-headed
openings to court; E range has low alcove probably originally
housing trough, and 2 louvred and gabled roof vents. Garage
has 3 sliding timber and glazed doors, large rooflight over
and axial ventilator.
