Earlier 19th century, symmetrically planned, single storey steading with lofts, incorporating earlier blocks to east, and with large central 2-stage, square tower to symmetrical, 9-bay west elevation.
W ELEVATION: squared purple granite (remainder mostly rubble-built) with droved yellow ashlar dressings. Lower stage of tower has carriage entrance below dovecot in round-headed opening, upper stage is droved
ashlar, with tripartite: slated ogival roof, with semi-circular opening, square lantern above with lead bell-cast roof, and capping weather vane. Flanking wings have broader advanced outer bays with round-headed openings, these linked to tower by 3-bay centre-doored cottages, each with canted window and box dormer.
E ELEVATION: central, crowstepped gabled block has 3 inserted, segmental-headed openings with vermiculated voussoirs. Slate and pantile roofs.
C(S) category because of dormer alterations.
