Triple range of steadings in centre of old farm complex.
Whinstone rubble walls, hipped pantile roofs, old raftered
tie-beam construction. Immediately opposite on south east
side is a fine open fronted cart shed with nine round ashlar
columns (reused?) forming a loggia. Rear rubble walls, end
wall to west of whin and droved ashlar part of original wall
enclosing farmyard. Lean-to pantile roof, plain rafters, wood
lintels without caps; turned bases on square stone plinths
to columns.
Graded category B on account of the unusual quality of the
columned cart shed.
