Description

1870-80. Pair W facing, single storey and attic, 2-bay
cottages. Mixed rubble, tooled ashlar dressings. Entrances at
rear; 2 bracketted corniced windows to each house-front
elevation (in No 9 modern enlargement of 1 window as 4-pane
bipartite) and single blind window in each return gable; 2
dormer windows break wallhead; single 1st floor window in
each gable above continuous cill eaves band; lying-pane
glazing. Centre coped ridge stack; slate roof.
