Telephone kiosk of the K6 type. Designed c.1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and made by various contractors. Cast iron, square in plan with a flat-domed roof and margin glazing and an unperforated crown above a panel bearing the legend "TELEPHONE" engraved on clouded glass. The telephone and the glazing have been renewed, but otherwise the kiosk is in good, original condition.
The kiosk stands in a conservation area, makes a positive contribution to the urban texture of the village and is situated close to 3 listed buildings.
