House. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later alterations and late C19
extension. Timber-frame with plaster and brick infill and brick extension.
Sandstone slate, Welsh slate and tile roofs. Sandstone rubble stacks with
brick shafts. Rectangular three or four-bay plan aligned roughly east/west
with projecting wing and C19 extension at north side of west end. One storey
and attics. North elevation has no first floor windows. Ground floor of
timber-frame part to left has one late C20. oriel to left of ledged door.
To the right of the entry are two sandstone stacks, one behind the other.
To their right is a lean-to, probably late C19. Left-hand gable-end stack
is enveloped by lean-to with hipped sandstone slate roof. Frame is three
panels from cill to wall-plate. C19 extension to right-hand side has two
windows with cambered heads and a Welsh slate roof. Interior not inspected.
