Gatepiers and gates to The Leys. 1923, the gates renewed 1980. Designed by George Walton for J B B Wellington in Scottish Baronial style. 2 circular gatepiers are of rendered brick with conical tiled caps. Gates are teak replicas of original oak, ledged and braced, pegged, and with close-set vertical rails. Carriage gates to centre are slightly arched; pedestrian gates to either side. Original strap hinges signed Charles Collinge Lambeth.
