House. c1820-40. Rendered over brick with hipped slate roof
and endered stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys. 4-window
front with 6/6-pane sashes to first floor. Four French windows
below open onto ground-floor verandah with tented lead-roofed
canopy on slender fluted cast iron columns and with ornate
cast-iron frieze. Plate-glass sashes and enlarged openings to
other elevations. Interior known to have retained original
fireplaces, cornicing and joinery, including panelled doors in
moulded architraves.
