Villa, now flats. c1800 with later additions and alterations,
including late C20 renovations and range to rear. Bath stone
ashlar over brick with replaced shallow-hipped slate roof,
renewed rear brick stack with oversailing course and pots. Single
depth, central hallway plan.
3 storeys on basement, 3 first-floor windows; single-storey,
single bay ranges at right and left. Main range has plinth and
plain end pilasters, crowning frieze and cornice. 8/8 sashes to
ground and first floors, 4/4 sashes to second floor; all in plain
reveals and with sills. Flight of steps to central entrance a
-raised-and-fielded-panel door has fanlight with gothic glazing
bars within ashlar doorcase with open pediment on pilasters with
fleurons to caps. Range at left has 10/10 sash, range at right is
blind to front facade and has 10/10 sash to return, otherwise
right return has blind first-floor window and 3/3 sash to second
floor. Outer ranges have crowning frieze and cornice with
blocking course.
INTERIOR: said to contain some original features.
