Railway viaduct. 1875, for the Sheffield and Midland Railway Company. Built of brick, the line being carried on 16 semi-circular arches to brick piers, that to centre being thicker in section. Ornament comprises a brick cornice and stone imposts. An imposing example of Victorian railway engineering, prominently sited in this picturesque setting.
