House. c1820-50. Stucco over brick with concealed roof and
iron railings. Double depth plan with right side hallway,
wider left bay breaks forwards.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys on basement, 2 first-floor windows. Stucco
detailing includes ground-floor rustication to left bay and
voussoirs over window; tooled architraves to first-floor
windows; second-floor band; crowning moulded band and
modillion cornice with blocking course and copings. First
floor has 2/2 horizontal-pane sash with moulded sills, that to
right on feet; second floor has 6/6 sashes; ground floor has
1/1 sash with tooled sill on feet; all in plain reveals and
with sills. Entrance to right, flight of 7 roll-edged steps to
round-arched opening with tooled head on imposts, within a
part-glazed 4-panel door with overlight. Basement has 4/8 sash
and glazed double doors.
