Terrace of four houses, forming part of a longer row. c1830s. Coursed and squared watershot stone with slate roofs.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: two storeys, four-window range comprising four single unit, double pile plan dwellings. Moulded architraves to doorways, and stone lintels to two-pane sash windows, some renewed in original openings. Angular stone moulding to eaves cornice. End wall stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
The terrace forms part of the planned industrial community of Eagley Bank, developed in association with the Chadwick's Eagley Mills (Park Row and Playfair Street, qv). (Smalley PJ: A Study of Model Villages (Manchester Polytechnic dissertation): 1983-).
