House. Mid C18 with later alterations and additions. Brown
brick on stone plinth; slate roof with stone copings; brick
gable end stacks, one external.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 2-window gable end to road with
2-storey polygonal bay at right. Bay has hipped roof; front
door of 6 bolection moulded panels in terracotta surround in
left return; and recessed sash windows, that at first floor
centre blocked, with painted wedge lintels. To left of bay is
C20 8-panel door in doorcase with panelled reveals beneth
moulded flat hood and moulded cantilever brackets. Windows to
original building are generally sashes with stone sills,
exposed weight boxes, glazing bars and wedge arches.
Right return has high stone plinth with moulded string, and
raised brick bands to first floor and eaves beneath plain
parapet: 2-light horizontal sliding sashes in gabled dormers.
INTERIOR: 6-panel doors, cased panelled beams, exposed
chamfered floor beam and exposed beams and joists in service
wing: staircase with beaded edge newels and turned balusters.
