HISTORICAL NOTE: Pittville was developed for Joseph Pitt,
1825-42, the general layout being designed by John Forbes with
Pittville Park as its centrepiece.
One of a pair of bridges crossing Pittville Lake. 'An
accomplished and subtle design', (Verey).
