Railings, gates and gate piers. c1830-40, renewed in parts.
Arrow-head railings with some dog-rails. Anthemion-capped
standards with dogleg stanchions. Gates to Pittville Park on
west and 2 ashlar piers.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Pittville Park was laid out for Joseph Pitt
c1820-30, as the centrepiece to his Pittville development, the
overall layout by architect, John Forbes.
Forms a good streetscape feature to Pittville Park along
Evesham Road, those to east side flank ends of Bridge in Pump
Room Gardens adjacent to Evesham Road, Pittville Park (qv).
