Bothy. Circa late C18; possibly with earlier origins; extended C20. Roughcast timber frame. Clay plain tile roof with gabled ends. Rendered brick axial stack with two old clay pots. PLAN: 2-room plan with central axial stack with back-to-back fireplaces, the right-hand [W] room is smaller; porch at centre of the front and wing at rear extended in C20. Gothic style. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical3-bay north front facing River Thames, with central gabled projection with pointed arch doorway with plank door, and blind window above.
The flanking ground floor windows are C18 ogee-headed 2-light casements, with C18 quatrefoil windows above on first floor, all with leaded panes; similar windows in left [E] gable end. Small 2-storey rear [N] wing at centre, extended in C20. INTERIOR: Simple unaltered interior with exposed framing and joinery.
