House, now part restaurant. Probably C17, much altered and
refronted late C18, with further alterations later.
Timber-framed, refronted in brick with lined stucco render.
Plain tile roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; single-window range with small, early,
gabled wing to rear. First floor: boxed 6/6 sash with
projecting sill; inserted C20 window on left. Ground floor:
C20 shopfront with door and passage doorway to left.
INTERIOR: exposed timber-framing to right-hand wall; it is
probable that much of the original timber-framing survives
