Pair of houses. Mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond. Welsh
slate roof with wooden bracketed eaves soffit and 2 off-ridge
brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar. 2-window range of 8/8 sashes,
smaller on 2nd floor, all with painted channelled voussoirs,
keystones and sill. On ground floor, 2 canted bay-windows of
4/4:8/8:4/4 sashes with pitched leaded roofs, shallow
cornices, and sills; doorcases at each side have painted
archivolts with keystones and springers, plain fanlights, and
5-panel doors.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: this building replaced the Talbot Inn.
