Boundary wall, gate piers and overthrow. 1860s. Part probably
of John Middleton's design. Battered retaining walls in rough
faced rubble to churchyard. Wall buttresses and angled
capping. Weathered gate piers with cross-gabled capping, axial
with south porch with cast and wrought iron lamp overthrow.
Similar gate piers at south end of east wall.
A significant streetscape feature, forming an integral part of
the setting for St Mark's Church (qv).
