Farmhouse. Probably 1738 for Thomas Bastin remodelled early
C19 and extension to rear c1874. Rubble, with renewed tile
roof with coped verges and end stacks with moulded capping.
Central lobby plan with extension to rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics, 3 first-floor windows.
Central entrance within solid porch with gable; entrance has
stone jambs and chamfered wooden lintel. Outer windows under
cambered arches. Casements throughout. 3 dormer windows with
casements. End stacks with cornices.
Return to east has 3 windows (one above the other) with
chamfered surrounds, that to ground floor with mullion. West
end wall has 2-light mullion window to gable and entrance with
flat timber lintel, further 3-light mullion window to
extension. Extension to rear: L-shaped on plan, 2 storeys.
Rear elevation retains one 2-light mullion window on first
floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
