House, now offices. c1810. later additions and alterations
including mid C20 wing to south-west. For the Higgs family,
Cement rendered walls with top-lit hipped slate roofs.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3 bays, the outer bays are full-height
segmental bows, 7 windows altogether arranged 3:1:3. Central
entrance a 4-panel door has doorcase with pilasters and
flanking windows, frieze with paterae and pediment. 6/6 sashes
throughout. Cornice to parapet.
INTERIOR: 1983 List notes panelled shutters, rich stair hall
with segmental arch and moulded cornices, cantilevered stone
staircase with moulded soffits and wrought-iron balustrade.
