II

Farmhouse, now guest house. Mid C17 with minor C19 and C20
alterations. Render to west front, squared and coursed rubble
to return walls, with stone dressings and gabled C20 pantile
roof with 2 central rubble stacks with ashlar caps.
PLAN: double-depth plan with central staircase hall.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey; 3-window range. Symmetrical west facade
with central doorway and outer coped gables. Windows are of
3-lights with chamfered mullions, sills, cornices and
small-pane casements except one 2-light mullion window above
doorway. 2 sunken panels under each gable apex. Recessed
doorway in plain surround with part-glazed plank door. Similar
mullioned fenestration to return facades but with semicircular
relieving arches over windows.
