Gateway piers and railings. Early C19 and coeval with Keynsham
House (qv). Whitewashed ashlar to central gateway, dressed
stone to end piers, wrought-iron railings. Late Georgian
style.
Plain, square section stone piers with projecting square caps;
incised panelled piers to gateway supporting entablature and
blocking course; plank gate; spear-head railings with
intermediate floral finials to support bars. The railings
extend for approximately 35m along the length of the frontage
of Nos 31, 33 and 35 (Keynsham House) (qv). A significant
streetscape feature.
