Well. C3. Coursed limestone rubble walling to well, of 0.6m in
diameter.
HISTORICAL NOTE: the well was sited next to a small Roman
building, incorporating a bath suite, which was associated
with a large Roman villa at Durley Hill to the west. The site
was excavated in 1922 and the foundations of the building were
resited in 1927. The well is now under a protective manhole
cover and surrounded by the Cadbury factory buildings.
