Possibly dates from Avon Navigation Immprovements of 1720s, although early
C19 in appearance. Slightly hump-backed parapet in ashlar with band at
road level. Segmental arch with keystone. Parapet rounded and with metal
cramps. South-east side has a Motor Car Act Sign (G W R issue). Bridge
approached by causeway on 4 spaced landarches, 2 with band and keys. Towpath
on embankment between first landarch and bridge.
