Small bridge over Taythes Gill. Probably C17; partly
dilapidated. Mixed rubble. Segmental arch with rubble
voussoirs, spring from short retaining wall of boulder stones.
North side now lacking voussoirs, both sides lacking parapets.
One monolithic gatepost surviving at north-east corner (now
leaning at 45 degree angle). HISTORICAL NOTE: link in ancient
communications network, formerly called The Street (said to be
of Roman origin), connecting Cautley with Grisedale.
