Farmhouse. Later C19 incorporating some earlier fabric.
Slobbered rubble with some quoins; graduated slate roof.
Cruciform plan formed by 2-unit main range on north-south axis
with porch on west side and porch-wing on east side, and
lean-to outbuilding at south end.
2 storeys and 3 windows; gabled porch offset right of centre
has doorway in south side, C17-style round-headed window in
front wall with leaded glazing, stepped surround and
medallions in the spandrels, stone slate hoodmould, and roof
with oversailing eaves and verges on wooden brackets. Left of
the porch is a square 2-light stair-window, and apart from
this each floor has 2 square 2-light windows, all small-paned
with Gothick glazing bars. Gable chimneys. Full-height lean-to
at south end. Rear wing has doorway and round-headed window
like those of front porch.
