GV II

Public house. Late C18. Coursed and uncoursed stone rubble,
with corbelled brick eaves to front. Plain-tile roof. 2
integral brick eaves stacks to rear. L-shaped plan of front
range with rear cross wing.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. Street front has 3-window
front consisting of an 8/8 sash to left, 2-light casement to
centre both with stone lintels with raised keyblocks, and a
C19 flat-roofed canted bay window to right fitted with a pair
of 6/6 sashes with 2/2 side sashes. C20 glazed entrance door
with C20 illuminated canopy to centre right and door with flat
projecting canopy to left. 4 tiled gabled dormers with late
C19 2-light casements with top-lights. Right return side: 8/8
sash to ground-floor of rear wing.
INTERIOR: mostly modern linings.
