House, now pair of houses. C17 with C19 extensions. Painted
timber frame on stone rubble plinth with painted brick and
rubble extensions. Plain-tile roofs. Central brick ridge
stack. 2 framed bays split between 2 houses each with end
extension bay.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. Street front with 2 central
square-framed bays each with gable-end truss above. Square
framing 3 panels high, that to the left underbuilt with brick
to first floor. Gable-end trusses with straight tie beams,
vertical struts, collar and twin raking struts over. Left bay
with simple boarded door with projecting canopy flanked by
2-light casement and small canted bay window, with two 2-light
casements in the gable framing. Right bay with 3-light
casement at ground floor and 2-light casement in the gable
framing, both with leaded lights. Brick extension bay to right
with plain boarded entrance door and leaded 2-light casement.
Left and right return gables with casements at both floors.
