Farmhouse. C18 but probably incorporating an earlier
structure, with C19 alterations. Brick formerly covered with
painted roughcast render, painted rubble and painted render.
Hipped tiled roof with partly projecting eaves chimneys each
side. Rectangular double-pile plan.
EXTERIOR: facade is a 2-storey, 3-window range of 3-light
casements with small bracketed hoods set in brick segmental
arched openings; central panelled door and rectangular
fanlight.
Right-hand side: to left is large projecting stepped stack
with tiled offsets capped with C20 brick shaft, to right is
partly projecting rendered stack. Left-hand side partly
covered by C20 lean-to extension. Rear with 3 Gothick-style
casement windows set in pointed arched openings at first-floor
level and segmental arched openings at ground floor, central
door in pilastered frame and fanlight with ogee pointed arch.
