House with shop. Late C18. Brick with stone dressings, all
colourwashed, roof not visible behind parapet. Right-angle
plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, single bay. Plain mid C20 shop front to
ground floor, with fairly deep fascia, doorway on left. First
floor has tripartite sash window of 4+12+4 square panes to
first floor, apparently under a timber lintel, and to second
floor a 12-pane sash window in plain opening with stone sill
and gauged brick flat arch, set under moulded stone cornice
and plain parapet.
INTERIOR: long narrow 2-room, with central timber winder
staircase, some stick balusters remaining, otherwise no
original detail visible. Roof covering reputed to have been
replaced 1992.
