House with shop, now shop with flats. Early C19. Red brick
with Doulting stone dressings, Welsh slate covered Mansard
roof between coped gables, rendered chimney stack.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys, 3 bays. Brick band courses, stone
cornice, plain brick parapet with stone coping. Late C19 shop
front across ground floor, with panelled pilasters and
ornamental brackets to fascia cornice, the fascia being fairly
shallow, door with 2 semicircular arched panels to left, with
rectangular fanlight over, in true centre a glazed door in
angled recess, with plain display windows having cast-iron
columns to corners. Above, plain sash windows to first floor,
12-pane to second and 9-pane to third floor, all in plain
openings having stone sills and gauged brick flat arches, and
with moulded exposed sash boxes.
INTERIOR: the ground floor modified for the shop, the upper
floors are converted into 5 flats, not seen but said to have
involved considerable modification.
